PCB board, mainly in order to make full use of the board, so as to improve production efficiency.
Relatively simple is the rule of the plate frame of the plate.
As shown in the picture above, the board frame is square, and it is easy to assemble four boards, among which, only one board needs wiring, while the other boards only need the frame, which the sample factory will handle (it is better to copy the components and lines in the past, so that it is not easy to make mistakes).
The lines in the mechanical layer of the regular plate frame are cut by the Vcut knife, but the plate thickness of 0.4mm cannot be cut by the Vcut knife.
What if it's an irregular frame?
In the picture above, stamp holes (with five circles) are used. I used a circle with a radius of 0.4mm and a line width of 0.127mm. The spacing between the circles is about 10mil, not too wide. In this way, the plate factory will drill holes in the rings, so that the hand can easily break it.
For the lines in the mechanical first layer in the irregular plate frame, instead of cutting the plate with a Vcut knife, directly hollowed out the unwanted parts while drilling the stamp holes.
Of course, it is not necessary to spell the same plate. Different plates can also be put together. The connection method is also direct connection and stamp hole connection.
When assembling the board, we should pay attention to the fact that some components do not affect the next board, or we can not PCBA.
The DVI base, shown in the image above, will block the other board patches, so the board directly below, is turned 180 degrees.
After assembling the board, it is also necessary to consider whether the force of the board is even, otherwise the board may be broken in PCBA (when it is sent to the patch factory), so that it cannot be pieced. If you really feel that the force is not good, add more edges and connect them with stamp holes, but do not be cut by the Vcut knife.
To increase the process edge to PCB, mainly when PCBA will be used, generally on the board, under each add a side, if the upper and lower edge is not good, in the left and right to add, anyway with the stamp hole, is sure to add.
As shown in the figure above, a process edge is added to the board frame with rounded corners. The long line segment is generally required to be 4mm, while the short one is required to be at least 1mm.
Stamp holes are used to add a craft edge to the irregular frame as shown above. The actual picture is shown below.
The five holes can be clearly seen, indicating that after pasting the piece, you can break off the craft edge by hand.
